A 5% relaxation in the minimum score is available for candidates from SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), EWS, differently-abled groups, and other categories permitted by the commission.

Students applying directly after a 4-year bachelor’s degree must have at least 75% marks or an equivalent grade, with the same relaxation policy applicable for reserved categories. Those who have completed an M.Phil with at least 55% marks are also eligible to apply, along with the standard 5% relaxation for eligible categories.

Reservation benefits are extended only to Maharashtra domicile candidates who submit valid documents before the interview. Applicants from outside Maharashtra will be considered under the open category.
